Art Competition

National Energy Efficiency & Conservation (EE&C)

Art Competition 2023

Purpose:

To highlight the importance of Energy Efficiency and Conservation through creative work and practical examples from daily life matters

Description:

Energy efficiency and conservation are a little complex concept to understand. Given the immense importance it holds in our infrastructural fabric, it is pertinent to make the concept of energy efficiency and conservation relevant to the national causes that popularly championed in the global and national sphere. Fewer people realize the fact that sustainable development and climate change are intrinsically linked to energy conservation and the sooner countries like Pakistan that face energy-crisis and climate-emergency in the dearth of resources realize it, the better it is for their development.

Teaching through the arts can present difficult concepts visually, making them easier to understand. Arts is a powerful manner of communication and sensitization. A national contest drawing art pieces build from diverse imaginations and skills would provide a powerful way of showcasing energy conservation practices.
